EXTRACTOR SPECIFICATIONS AND STANDARDS:
Operation Specifications
The Accent
IFRS 36 functions automatically with no supervision required during
operation. Routine maintenance is required (10 man-hour / month).
Based on maximum capacity, 1 man-hour / day will be required for

Performance
Standards
The Accent
IFRS 36 separator is a self-contained solid liquid separator that
separates, primary treatment effluent from manure slurry mixtures.
The Accent IFRS 36 separator produces 2 nutrient streams; one component
of solids and another component of liquids. The 2 components share
the nutrient loads averaging 30% in the solids and 70% in the liquids.
Single pass solid removal rates of up to 30 % can be achieved depending
on input densities, perforation sizes and flow. The supernatant
generated by the separator is of superior quality. It will significantly
improve the in-house condition when used back in the barn as recycled
flush. As a result the Accent Manure Separator may:
- Reduce atmospheric
emissions of ammonia
- Reduce the
emission of odor that is detectable beyond the boundaries of the
farm site
- Reduce the
release of disease-transmitting vectors and airborne pathogens
- Reduce nutrient
and heavy metal contamination of soil and groundwater
